Barb holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Marian University and has over 15 years of law enforcement experience with Green Bay Police Department.  Barb started the Green Bay Community Crisis Intervention Team (CCIT) in 2005 and is the team Coordinator. She is currently a full time Behavioral Health Officer. Barb is a member of the POST (Police Officer Support Team) and is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Barb is on the Green Bay Honor Guard Team. She is on the Board of Directors for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Brown County and a member of the Brown County Coalition for Suicide Prevention.  She’s on the Mental Health Court Treatment Team and will be one of Green Bay’s first Officer/Clinician Teams starting in 2019.
